updates will be slow, since i'm killing myself over my portfolio, but that does not halt other things...

and i happened to find that there is a spot open in Beasts! book two, (… as an artist dropped out, and they're open for entries...and frankly, i'd kill to get into a book like that, as it's everything i've ever been interested in...
there is a catch however, and that is that almost all the beastly creatures that i know of have already been done, and they need something that hasn't been done before...and also, the deadline is March 1st, so i'm in a serious crunch for time...

i know the last time i asked for help finding creatures everyone was super helpful and i'd sincerely appreciate it again...and of course, you want to know what's in it for you? well, i'd draw your suggestion, if i want to do it and think it fits nicely...
so any and all suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Koerakoonlased (not koerakoonased as you have here) could be very interesting to do - they basecly are demonic warriors with a dog snout. This expression was used on Estonians some time during 15-16th century. Here, we koerakoonlased were the ones, who lived on the edge of the world and they came to eat people. I think the closest reference you'd get would be "the 13th warrior" [link] , koerakoonlased being the people wearing bear heads there (only koerakoonlased were dog headed). That would give quite good feeling of how people saw koerakoonlasi in the past.

If you need more info, let me know.

it might be on the list but i couldn't find it
If this might be any help... a VERY long list of mythological creatures/deities

I found this stuff pretty darn neat to get some basic hints on what they are. A great lead to anyone looking for some inspiration.
