i'm getting so bad with titles, it's disgusting...

anyways, been doing some reference studies and the like since i'm too doubtful at the moment to work on my own stuff...hoping to get over that soon, but who knows...
i did this from a photo i found here on DA awhile back, but the gallery is now empty, so i have no idea what happened and no link to the image...which is potentially better for me, as there are so many flaws, but i do like how it turned out...

I did what I normally do when I'm investigating something... I dived in and messed it up. Threw away the manual, ignored the notes, and laughed in the face of Balloon Help.

holy hell that is amazing...
It's a really uncommon lighting, and you did it very well. I like the mood of the picture.

Every gift contains a danger. Whatever gift we have we are compelled to express. And if the expression of that gift is blocked, distorted, or merely allowed to languish, then the gift turns against us, and we suffer.
That's PEN!? Holy cow. I'm impressed.
how in the world did you get ballpoint to look so smooth?! this is probably one of the best face sketches i've ever come across; the expression is almost unnerving. excellent work <3
